A lack of power and body balance made it all too easy for Chelsea’s midfield and defense to be over ran as Southampton beat the Blues at Stamford Bridge.
This is Chelsea's second home loss this season, something that has never happened to the west Londoners with Mourinho at the helm.
It seems that Chelsea's recent poor run of form and results are going to continue unless Mourinho turns to youth who brought him his first emphatic win in the Champions League this season when they beat Maccabi Tel Aviv in Europe 4-0.

Chelsea's experienced players are not performing as they did last season and as a result the team has suffered. They seem now to be a shadow of the players that dominated the league last season and one begins to wonder why.
With matches coming thick and fast after the international break, Mourinho can no longer afford the luxury of wanting to find out nor wait for them to pick up. He has young and hungry players and whatever they may lack in experience, they can make up in pace, intensity and ambition.
Baba Rahman should be on the field of play and Cesar Azpilicueta move to the right.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek who won the match ball for his performance in Europe against Tel Aviv would have done more than Ramires, Matic and Fabregas did to contain Sadio Mane as he would have cherished the duel. Kenedy is another player with great potential and with his intense work rate and hunger deserves a place in the team.
If Mourinho will end this crisis, he needs to start trusting these youngsters by blending them into the team in order to have a mixture of experience and youthful energy needed to compete in the fast Premier League.
Chelsea fans: Do you think Mourinho should give the youth a chance? And what would your line up look like?
