Felix Magath admits his bid to revive Wolfsburg´s fortunes is being hindered by the club´s poor reputation in Europe.

The former Stuttgart and Bayern Munich coach has so far failed to lure a big name to the north German outfit, with Italy striker Antonio Di Natale turning down a switch to the Wolves while Roy Makaay snubbed Magath´s advances in favour of a move to Feyenoord.

"We have got to create the basis to allow such transfers," Magath said.
