Ricardo Kishna confirms he rejected Arsenal move in the summer

Published Add your comment

Lazio midfielder Ricardo Kishna has revealed he turned down the opportunity to sign for Arsenal during the summer transfer window, citing a great proposal from the Italians as the reason. The Dutch youngster confirmed he had snubbed the Gunners, as well as Juventus and Roma, in order to sign for Lazio - he completed a move for a poultry £2.9m. With spirits high at the Emirates Stadium after the weekend win over Manchester United, there’s no real chance of disgruntled fans voicing criticisms of Wenger. All the same, it could turn out to be an unfortunate missed venture. In other news, the Gunners are to hand Alexis Sanchez a new lucrative deal in a bid to rule out the idea of him leaving. The Chile international is in line to receive a new five-year deal, and could earn up to £130,000-a-week. That's according to the Daily Mirror.
