If Jose Mourinho pays even the slightest bit of attention to media reports - admittedly it’s not very likely - then he’ll be sweating at the prospect of being replaced by Carlo Ancelotti next summer. Reports, apparently originating from Italian paper Gazzetta dello Sport, say that the ex-Real Madrid coach might well make a return to Chelsea - the club from which he was sacked in 2011 - with the man himself having confirmed he will take the rest of this season off and return in time for next campaign. It’s rare that Mourinho is ruffled, but then it’s also rare that Chelsea start a term as badly as this one, so who knows. Moving on, the Blues face a £37.5million bill if they want to get rid of Mourinho, or so speculation infers. The Portuguese coach signed a new deal after guiding the Blues to Premier League and Capital One Cup glory last season, and Roman Abramovich would have the pay the contract’s entire worth if he wants Mourinho gone.
