Liverpool and Brazilian midfielder Philippe Coutinho is happy at Liverpool and has no plans to move to La Liga giants Barcelona in the near future.
Reports have surfaced that the 23-year-old, dubbed 'The Magician', has been on the shortlist for Barcelona and Real Madrid. Amongst these rumors, Coutinho is set to remain at Liverpool as the club prepares for a fresh start with incoming manager Jurgen Klopp.
Coutinho's representative Kia Joorabchian stated to Brazilian television channel, Globo: "Philippe is extremely happy at Liverpool. He signed a new long-term contract towards the end of last season that represents his ambition and his feeling for Liverpool.

The playmaker will be influential in Liverpool's future progress, and will be a key figure in Klopp's plans. The former Inter Milan player has been pivotal for the clubs current success, striking many vital goals in cup competitions of late.
Kia went on to say: "His aspirations are to qualify for the Champions League with Liverpool this season and to win a trophy. That is all that he is focussed on – and nothing else."
Barcelona have looked to be the main suitor for the Brazilian, with childhood friend and Brazilian sensation Neymar and former teammate and friend Luis Suarez, all promoting his talents to the Barcelona board trying to lure their interests even more.
Former captain, Steven Gerrard, mentioned in his newly released autobiography, that Suarez had warned the club about taking care of Philippe Coutinho.
For Liverpool fans, statements from Coutinho's camp, like those of Kia Joorabchian, are warmly welcomed. With the majority of their talent leaving after very few season with the club, to let arguably their best asset leave would be a major downfall for the club.
