John Cena to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 32?

Published 2 Comments

WrestleMania 32 is still several months away but all the rumours state that the WWE want to make it the biggest of all time.

Names like Stone Cold Steve Austin, the Rock and even Ronda Rousey have been speculated to be at the event and even competing.

A strange tactic

Last year at WrestleMania, we saw a main event which took a strange shape as the man who was dubbed as a heel Brock Lesnar was cheered as opposed to his challenger Roman Reigns.

Reigns was largely booed ever since he won the Royal Rumble two months earlier and hasn't been given a singles match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship ever since.

It is expected and certainly understandable that the WWE would be reluctant to put him back in the title picture, but he could still be set for a big WrestleMania match.

A man who is used to be being booed despite being dubbed as a face superstar is John Cena who is constantly ridiculed by the fans.

He is now rumoured to be Reigns' opponent at WrestleMania 32 in what could be an attempt to get Reigns a hero's reception at WrestleMania.

It was speculated that the WWE have considered many options when trying to find an opponent for Reigns but he is expected to be booed against them all.

Cena on the other hand would see an interesting turning of the tables as Cena would be expected to be booed instead of Reigns.

The big question is though is a match with Cena going to free Reigns up for a future WrestleMania title slot or will he be booed at WrestleMania no matter what?

Time to cut your losses?

With Reigns still trying to recover from the disastrous call to have him win the Royal Rumble last year, some members of the WWE Universe have questioned one thing.

Why don't WWE just accept it and turn Reigns heel?

Reigns has worked as a heel before during his days with the Shield but with his popularity currently on the rise, are they holding on to hopes that he will be able to be the face champion they want him to be?
