Schalke midfielder Lincoln still looks on course to move to Galatasaray, despite confusion surrounding the deal.
The Turkish club prematurely announced a transfer on their website but later changed the name of Lincoln to that of Ismail Bouzid, who has joined from Kaiserslautern.
The 28-year-old Brazilian has agreed personal terms at the Ali Sami Yen Stadium, but Schalke have yet to officially give the green light for a rumoured five million euro switch.
