NXT: Who will be next to challenge Bayley?

There is absolutely no doubt in any NXT fan's mind that Bayley vs Sasha Banks at NXT Takeover: Respect was the best Women's Wrestling match of this generation.

Little did the fans know that the history setting match was Sasha's NXT bow out which leaves Bayley with a title and no challenger, so who will step up?

Who's next?

It would be understandable if the women's locker room looked at that main event and wondered how they would ever follow that up, but someone has to and here are my picks.

ASUKA

The Japanese sensation made her NXT debut a few hours before the historic match between Bayley and Banks and she raised the roof. There is a reason she is known as one of the best strikers in the game and she delivered against Dana Brooke.

As far as the NXT Women's Championship goes, it seems after the end of the match that Emma and Dana are not finished with Asuka yet and it may be a little too soon for her too.

ALEXA BLISS

Remember the little fairy gimmick that she had before Blake and Murphy convinced her to join the dark side? Alexa is a decent in-ring talent and it never made any sense to me that WWE decided to make her a valet when she had all that talent.

Maybe she could leave "her boys" for a while and dust off her wrestling boots. I think Alexa and Bayley could have a fantastic feud given that they've both been in NXT for a while and both still feel like they have a point to prove.

CARMELLA

The Princess of Staten Island, she was recently injured at an NXT taping by Eva Marie so her current medical state is unknown.

What is known is that, much like Bliss, she has some in-ring skill and she is wasted as a valet. She could do both? She supported Enzo and Cass so it seems that they should support her if she goes after Bayley.

SUMMER RAE

Long shot, I know but you heard Rusev on Raw, she has to have gold too and it doesn't look like she will be getting anywhere near the Divas Championship on the main roster.

She boasts what was an impressive NXT career so she could always drop back down and go after the title. It depends how much she really wants that gold.

It's sad to think that Sasha has pretty much led the Divas Revolution all on her own, matches against Becky Lynch and Bayley have lifted the NXT Women above the ones on the main roster. Now she will be lost in the main roster talent. Although there are rumours she could be a part of the Hell in a Cell Divas Championship match.

Either way, Triple H needs to make sure the loss of her from NXT doesn't affect the quality of the division and the matches and with the likes of Peyton Royce and Billie Kay also coming through, it seems it is all in good hands.
