UEFA investigate England

UEFA have opened disciplinary proceedings against both Serbia and England after a number of incidents in Sunday night´s Under-21 Championship match between the two nations.

Serbia will be investigated for racist chants from their fans and also the conduct of their players both during and after the match. England players´ conduct after the match will also be looked at by UEFA.

England defender Nedum Onuoha was racially abused by Serbia fans during the first half of the 2-0 win in Nijmegen and UEFA were forced to make an impromptu anti-racism announcment at Goffert Stadion.
