German coach Jurgen Klopp could have already made his first mistake as manager of Liverpool, according to Peter Schmeichel.
The former Manchester United goalkeeper took to social media shortly after Klopp's introductory press conference on Merseyside. The ex-Borussia Dortmund boss implied that he would deliver a title for the Kop in the next four years.
The 48-year-old told reporters: "If I sit here in four years, I am pretty confident we will have one title."

Liverpool, of course, are yet to win the Premier League, but came agonisingly close under the guidance of Klopp's predecessor Brendan Rodgers.
However, despite the club's recent title failure, Klopp is seemingly confident of bringing the good times back to Anfield. Red Devils legend Schmeichel, however, doesn't think it's going to be easy for the German to succeed.
Taking to Twitter, Schmeichel stated: "First mistake..?? Others have made the same promise! #It'sNotThatEasyMrKlopp"
Confidence of Klopp
Ultimately, the former United star is right; Klopp has it all to do to lead the Reds into a new era of success, but he has the class and experience to produce the goods.
Liverpool fans will have to be patient, but they will be well aware of that. This season, Klopp and co. will most definitely be targeting a place in the top four of the Premier League, but a title challenge could be a little too much to ask at this stage.
It remains to be seen as to whether the appointment of Klopp will pay off for the Reds, but it's certainly going to prove an exciting time for all involved with the club.
