Hertha Berlin have named Lucien Favre as their new coach.

The Bundesliga outfit agreed a compensation package with Favre´s previous club, Swiss champions Zurich, paving the way for his move to the Olympiastadion on a three-year deal.

Hertha, who finished 10th in the recently-completed Bundesliga campaign, sacked Falko Gotz in April and replaced him with Karsten Heine until the end of the season.
