Denver Broncos' DeMarcus Ware out of game versus the Oakland Raiders

Published 1 Comments

Denver Broncos linebacker DeMarcus Ware has left the game against the Oakland Raiders with a back injury, and the team has announced he is out for the rest of the game.

He was carted off to the locker room during the second quarter of the game and he will be a huge loss for the currently ranked number one defense in the NFL.

The linebacker was listed as questionable to return but was later ruled out of the game completely. Ware had been playing fantastic during the first four games of the season for the Broncos, tallying up 4.5 sacks entering the game.

These strong performances have helped to compensate the Broncos offense who had been not at their best in the first four weeks, with the defense coming on regularly to save the game.

Ware had three tackles before he had to leave the game due to injury, and will be greatly missed if he has to spend a significant amount of time on the sidelines.

He's an eight-time Pro Bowler and has 131.5 sacks over 161 career games. He had 10 sacks with the Broncos last season and is definitely a key part of their defense.
