Italy striker Filippo Inzaghi claims that playing in the Faroe Islands for the Azzurri is just as important the Champions League final for his club AC Milan against Liverpool.

Inzaghi, 33, was the hero of last week´s club showpiece when his two goals secured a 2-1 win over the English club in Athens and a seventh European Cup for the Rossoneri, but the Milan forward admits he is pumped up for Saturday´s clash in Torshavn with the Faroe Islands in a Group B Euro 2008 qualifier.

"It´s never a step back when you wear the blue jersey," said Inzaghi.
