Xavi admits he would have liked to have played for Manchester United

Published 1 Comments

Once you’ve won everything there is to win in football, as well as having established yourself as a legend at arguably the biggest club in the world, there isn’t much left to regret. Well, Barcelona hero Xavi is clearly an exception as he’s suggested he would have liked to have played for either Manchester United or Liverpool during his career. The World Cup winner, now playing for Al Sadd of Qatar, said United were his favourite English side. Imagine the midfield Sir Alex Ferguson might have had with him. From one midfielder to another, Ander Herrera has revealed his plans for the future, and his next step is to ensure he gets more involved with his national side. Herrera is a regular for United but not for Spain. He’s aiming to change that in the near future, but of course that won’t be an easy feat given the options Vicente del Bosque has at his disposal.
