Recent reports have potentially revealed the reason why John Cena will be taking time off from the WWE after the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view later this month.

It has been known for some time now that the current United States Champion will be taking time off from the company after the pay-per-view event on October 25. Many rumors have circulated, from family affairs to getting married to Nikki Bella, to filming more movies because he is high demand with Hollywood.

Now, the most recent rumor suggests Cena is taking time off to host a fitness reality TV program for FOX.

According to Wrestling News, 'Pro Wrestling author and Fighting Spirit Magazine contributor Scott Keith noted on his blog that a friend in the fitness industry is working on a fitness-themed reality show for the FOX network and the show is set to air in the spring.'

'The filming window, according to those that were briefed on the taping schedule, is 6-8 weeks and filming starts on October 26.'

They also mentioned that Cena is scheduled for the December 26 Madison Square Garden show so the 6-8 week timeline matches up.

All in all, it could be the conclusion everyone needs to the discuss as to why the United States Champion is taking time off. Hopefully, we can all now focus on who his possible opponent could be at his final pay-per-view before he goes away for a while.

Cena is expected to have another US Open Challenge later tonight on Raw.
