When it comes to duos, WWE often impress with the way its creative team utilises both superstars whether in or out of the ring.
These pairings are often most successful in WWE's Tag Team Division, which thanks to the legendary Dudley Boyz alongside The New Day, is currently providing a huge amount of entertainment for the WWE Universe.
For one WWE double act however, there has been little to impress followers of the business for some time now.

Given the fact they are sisters, WWE has tried to promote The Bella Twins as a solid pairing, but the recent NXT Divas Revolution has meant that the twins have been somewhat pushed out of the limelight.
Although a change was undoubtedly needed for the WWE Women's Division, there appears to be a lack of cohesion with regard to maintaining the focus on its previous talent whilst incorporating the abilities of the newly-promoted female wrestlers.

Whether it be by witnessing yet another badly-timed mic segment for Nikki Bella, or Alicia Fox supposedly supporting the twins by making up 'Team Bella', the use of these Divas has become unimaginative.
Though The Bella Twins understandably work well and ultimately work best for the company as a duo, it is when they turn on one another which makes for the most exciting viewing for WWE fans.
If WWE's creative team were unwilling to gown down this route, Brie and Nikki could even be used in a dark match involving mixed tag teams in order to work against one another and ultimately provide a different outlook on their talent to the WWE Universe.
The Bella Twins have also been the frontrunners behind the success of Total Divas meaning that a significant amount of their WWE popularity is also down to their airtime on the show.
With this in mind, it should not be forgotten that they are still young, fresh wrestlers who have a lot of potential which is unfortunately not being utilised by the company, and does not look to be any time soon.
For what it's worth, during a recent interview with Move, Nourish, Believe, the sisters explained what they love most about their roles under WWE:
"I love the competition in the ring and always doing what I can to improve as a WWE Diva. I also absolutely love the fans and live crowds...Oh and we travel the world which I love to do! Not very many jobs take you worldwide." Nikki responded, before Brie replied:
"Empowering Women. I love dominating in what’s been considered man’s world and showing them that women are equal talent. When I stand in that ring after a match I feel like the strongest me! It’s truly the greatest feeling."
Given the above answers therefore, it may well be a while before we see any great change from The Bella Twins within WWE, but the company should certainly continue to give them the focus they deserve even with the inclusion of the new Divas.
