Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has posted a cryptic message on Instagram, possibly in response to suggestions that he could struggle under new manager Jurgen Klopp.
Earlier on Monday, former Liverpool star Stan Collymore - writing in his Boylesports column - suggested that Sturridge will need to “reinvent himself” in order flourish under the former Borussia Dortmund head coach.
Collymore, though, believes Sturridge can do it - “make no mistake” - but only if he can stay fit. The England international missed most of last season, and the beginning of the 2015-16 campaign, through injury.

It’s unsure whether Sturridge’s latest Instagram post was in response to Collymore’s prediction, but the striker is clearly looking to do his talking on the pitch, judging by the message.
“Vibes speak louder than words,” the photo reads, while Sturridge posted the following message in the caption section: “Stay away from me if yuh vibes dem nuh good…”
Sturridge can succeed under Klopp
At the time of writing, 14 hours after being uploaded, Sturridge’s photo has received almost 35,000 likes and over 400 comments.
Some Liverpool fans asked Sturridge if he was referring to Klopp, while others simply advised him to concentrate on scoring against Tottenham on Saturday lunchtime.
Klopp will be pleased that Sturridge was left out of the England squad for the recent Euro 2016 qualifiers against Estonia and Lithuania; the 26-year-old should be raring to go for his new manager at White Hart Lane this weekend.
There’s no reason why Sturridge, who at his best is one of the most lethal strikers in the Premier League, can’t succeed under Klopp; however, as Collymore suggests, keeping himself fit will be imperative.
