I owe old club - Oddo

Published Add your comment

AC Milan full-back Massimo Oddo believes he owes a huge debt to former club Lazio for allowing him to join Milan during the winter transfer window.

Oddo was entrenched in his role as captain of the Roman club but decided he could not pass up the chance to join the Rossoneri - a club that had been chasing him for over a year and where he played as a youngster.

The Italy international proved to be a pivotal part of Milan´s 2-1 triumph over Liverpool in Wednesday´s Champions League final as he played all 90 minutes. "I want to dedicate this award to my team-mates and my coach but also to my former club and my former team-mates," said Oddo.
