Juninho prolongs Lyon stay

Juninho has extended his contract at Lyon by a further two years, tying him to the French champions until the summer of 2010.

The Brazilian´s contract at Les Gones was due to expire in June 2008, and there had been speculation he could leave this summer.

But the dead-ball doyen and current captain of Lyon looks as if he will now see out his career at the Stade Gerland.
