It might not be time to hit the panic button at Stamford Bridge just yet, but there’s no denying that Chelsea are in trouble. One thing that usually comes from a poor run of form from the reigning Premier League champions is transfer links and, predictably, the latest big one is in. Spanish newspaper Sport, as relayed by English sources, claim that Chelsea have turned their attentions to Atletico Madrid’s Koke in the hope that they can buy him in the January transfer window. Unlikely, but never say never, particularly as the Blues have the funds to pay the £40m it will supposedly take. Elsewhere, Mourinho might be treading on thin ice, but he’s already got another job he could walk into if he’s prematurely given the boot by Chelsea. Reports state that Paris Saint-Germain are interested in the Special One, as they seem him as capable of landing the coveted Champions League.
