Derrick Rose could make Chicago Bulls injury return within the next week

Chicago Bulls fans have plenty to be excited about as Derrick Rose could be cleared to begin activity within the next week, according to coach Fred Hoiberg. Since suffering a fractured left orbital bone at the end of September it’s been touch and go as to whether or not he’d be ready in time for the Bulls’ opening NBA game of the season against the Cleveland Cavaliers on October 27. However, Hoiberg said that hopefully Rose will return to training shortly after next week, although he is still getting blurred vision. Moving on, and NFL officials were spared blushes last night during the Pittsburgh Steelers victory over the San Diego Chargers. The clock operator for the match incorrectly let the clock run down from 2:56 to 2:38 after the Chargers went up 20-17, which could have cost the Steelers their gutsy comeback. Fortunately, for Steelers fans at least, it didn’t, with the match finishing 24-20.
