Torino defender Gianluca Comotto has given up on working out the permutations which would see his side avoid relegation and is simply focused on claiming the three points against Livorno.
With two rounds of fixtures remaining, any one of eight teams could join already-relegated Ascoli and Messina in Serie B next season, but the 28-year-old is just concentrating on defeating Livorno on Sunday.
"I have tried to make some calculations but it is nearly impossible to come to a conclusion," Comotto told www.toronews.net. "Theoretically we could be saved even if we lose, but of the five million possibilities this is the most unlikely, and not one we are thinking about."
