Chelsea and Colombia striker Radamel Falcao has still got it - on the training ground, at least.
The much-maligned 29-year-old, whose reputation as a world-class striker has nose-dived over the past couple of years, pulled off a stunning overhead kick in training this week. (You can see Falcao’s training ground effort by scrolling down this page).
Falcao rarely scores these days, so he wasn’t going to waste the chance to celebrate this goal - even if it won’t count towards his career tally - and that’s precisely what he did.

Sadly, though, Falcao could not prevent Colombia slumping to a 3-0 defeat to Uruguay in their second 2018 World Cup qualifying match on Tuesday night.
The former Manchester United loanee came on for the final 18 minutes but failed to make an impact.

Godin impressed by Falcao
However, Falcao still managed to impress his former teammate Diego Godin, who was part of the victorious Uruguayan team.
The Atletico Madrid centre-back was quoted as telling Gol Caracol - per the Independent - that the Colombian will rediscover his best form at Chelsea.
"Falcao is looking for the confidence he had before his injury," the 29-year-old commented. "He is at a great team and he will get the run of games of needs and the goals will come."
Falcao was a poor signing by Mourinho
Since arriving at Stamford Bridge on a season-long loan deal in the summer, Falcao has scored one goal in seven Premier League appearances - a return that has surprised nobody who watched him closely at Old Trafford last term.
Jose Mourinho felt he could bring the best out of the former FC Porto and Atletico Madrid goal machine - something Louis van Gaal failed to do last season - but so far the gamble has backfired.
Chelsea are struggling badly in the Premier League, having secured eight points from as many matches - but fortunately for the west London outfit, Diego Costa is back from his three-match suspension and ready to feature against Aston Villa this weekend.
