There is no doubt in anyone's mind that Sasha Banks has been one of the shining lights of the NXT Women's division over the past year.
The fatal four way for the Women's Championship followed by her feud with Becky Lynch and the two stand out matches she had with Bayley have put Sasha on the map and showed the corporate people behind WWE just what they can come to expect from the Boston-born superstar.
That being said, now that she has bowed out of NXT with one of her best showings, someone has to fill that spot and challenge Bayley.

ALEXA'S TIME TO SHINE?
Alexa Bliss hasn't wrestled a lot since she aligned herself with Blake and Murphy and since she successfully guided them to Tag Team gold and also played her role in making sure they kept the gold around their waist.
Since they lost the gold to The VaudeVillians and were knocked out of the Dusty Rhodes classic, the duo haven't had a lot to do and Bliss has been at something of a loose end.
Before she joined Blake and Murphy and BAMF was established, Alexa was already a successful female wrestler with something of a fairy gimmick.
She was thought to be one of the better up and coming talents and her time with the former Tag Team Champions has allowed her to pick up invaluable promo experience.
With WWE dropping Eva Marie's wrestling role and push towards the NXT Women's Championship and having Dana Brooke and Asuka already locked in a rivalry, it was either Carmella or Alexa who would step up.
Both women have been successfully used as valets over the past few months and it seems finally they are both receiving the credit they deserve.
Alexa and Bayley have both been in NXT for a long time and know each other well which means this rivalry could turn personal. This could be one of the main reasons WWE decided to choose Bliss.
After all, following the first ever Women's main event Iron Man match in NXT history is by no means a small feat.
