Roman Reigns is in a very odd situation right now in the WWE.
Vince McMahon clearly sees the Samoan superstar as the future face of the WWE, and is counting down the days until he can make Reigns the World Heavyweight Champion. But there are problems.
Firstly, Reigns is struggling like hell to connect with the crowd when he gets his pushes and still gets booed by smark crowds. It seems that there are people backstage who also aren't a fan of Reigns, or his promos at least.

According to a report from Marc Middleton of Wrestling Inc, there was a backlash against the creative team following RAW for allowing Roman such a long and pointless promo.
"There was a negative backstage reaction at Monday's WWE RAW to the lengthy promo that Roman Reigns cut in the ring," Middleton wrote. "There was a feeling that Reigns' should not have been given that much time for a promo."
So, with Reigns being booed and chanted at by the noisy and boisterous Chicago crowd, did the Creative Team learn their lesson? Of bloody course not.
"On a related note, Reigns cut another lengthy promo at last night's SmackDown tapings. Like the promo on RAW in Chicago, Reigns was given the "what?" treatment last night by fans in Cincinnati," Middleton added.
Well surprise surprise. How have the WWE not learnt that there is more than one way to advance a story than A) delivering a superman punch and spear and B) standing in the ring for 10 minutes, waffling on about rubbish that fans don't care about.
