Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton has taken a shot towards Seattle Seahawks fans, saying the noise they make at CenturyLink Field doesn't bother him.
Seahawks fans are known to be some of the loudest in the whole of the NFL. They have a nickname of 'the 12th man' because the noise they make is able to cause so many false starts on the opposing offense.
According to the team's website, 'On December 2, 2013, at CenturyLink Field, against the New Orleans Saints, Seahawks fans registered a decibel reading of 137.6, the second loudest recording in the world.' It isn't exactly a noise which you can shut out.

But Newton has said recently via the Charlotte Observer, that he has played in louder places.
He said: "I can't say (CenturyLink) Stadium is the loudest that we've ever heard before because we've played in some loud places. I'm not trying to disrespect them, nor disrespect any other place because loud is loud.
"When it's third-and-4 in the fourth quarter with three minutes left and you've got to get a first down, I like to put Bank of America (Stadium) up against anybody in the nation, in the world."
It's funny how Newton says his own fans are louder. I mean, that's not expected at all!
He also said the noise doesn't bother him because last year, they only had one false start there.
He said: "You would think going into a stadium of this magnitude, they call themselves the 12th Man, that it alters the approach. It does to a degree. But yet going back and looking at the statistics last year we had one false start, they had a false start as well."
I'm sure this has rallied up the Seahawks fans even further to try and help their team break the Panthers' 4-0 undefeated record so far this season and put their own year back on track after an abysmal 2-3 start.
