Alexis Sanchez's mum wants him to shoot more

Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez should 'shoot at goal more often', according to his mother. 

As reported by the Independent, the Chilean ace, who scored 25 goals in all competitions for the Gunners last term, has revealed that his mum acts as his coach and wants him to shoot on a more regular basis. 

The 26-year-old enjoyed a remarkable debut campaign on English soil but failed to hit top form in the opening weeks of the season.

However, after finding the back of the net on five occasions in his last two Premier League fixtures, Sanchez has been back to his sublime best recently. 

It appears, though, that his mother isn't content, as Sanchez revealed: "My mum is always my coach. She phones me and tells me to shoot at goal more often."

Mum's always right 

Ultimately, it's hard to argue with the player's mother. The former Barcelona star is an outstanding talent and has the ability to lead Arsenal into a period of sustained success.

It's clear for all to see: Sanchez is the Gunners' talisman, so it's crucial that he manages to produce the goods in north London for the foreseeable future. 

With a crunch Champions League clash against German giants Bayern Munich on the horizon, the Emirates faithful will be hoping to see their main man sparkle once again.
