Paul Scholes scores 35-yard wonder goal on EPL Masters tour

There are some things in this world that will never change. Pencils will break when you need them most; your smartphone will always be slightly out of date, and Paul Scholes will hit footballs like a gun fires bullets.

He may be 40 years old, but the former Manchester United star has continued to show what a class act he is on the 'All Star EPL Masters' tour, which is a thing, apparently.

The likes of Robbie Fowler and Robert Pires were on display–like some creepy circus–in Hong Kong last night, as two teams took to the field in a continuing operation to expand the Premier League's global reach.

But despite the best efforts from the Liverpool and Arsenal legends, it was Scholes who managed to steal the show, burying a trademark howitzer from 35-yards in what would turn out to be a 5-4 victory for his side.

Needless to say, Manchester United fans cottoned on to the news pretty quick and took to Twitter to announce their delight that their former hero rolled back the years, albeit on the other side of the world.
