It's become common knowledge now that John Cena is set to take some time away from WWE following next week's Hell in a Cell pay-per-view, but who will step up in his absence?
Last time Cena took time off was after Summerslam 2013 it was Daniel Bryan who stepped in and took the spotlight in his place, this time WWE has to think of a different plan.
THE LUNATIC FRINGE?
The current idea, via The Inquisitr, seems to center around Dean Ambrose and WWE finally giving him the push fans have wanted to see since last year's Hell in a Cell.

Ambrose and Seth Rollins headlined last year's event and, in doing so, made history by becoming the youngest ever competitors to main event a WWE pay-per-view.
Sadly Bray Wyatt interrupted what was a fantastic match and the rivalry that followed between The Eater of Worlds and The Lunatic Fringe was heavily Wyatt bias as WWE built him up ahead of his WrestleMania showdown with The Undertaker.
Since then, Ambrose has been bouncing around the mid-card and awaiting an opportunity at the main event.
When his former teammate became World Champion he was afforded two shots at the title and even won one of the matches, but via Disqualification.
But, since his loss at Money in the Bank this year, Ambrose has been aligned with Roman Reigns and whilst it's obvious Reigns is destined for bigger things, Ambrose is always held back.
AMBROSE VS ORTON?
This seems like it's all about to change following next Sunday's show when Randy Orton and Dean Ambrose look set to embark on a career-defining rivalry.
The two have been partners up to now, but given the tension between the two on Raw this past week, someone is destined for a heel turn.
Randy Orton has been face and heel so many times in WWE that the Universe has come to the conclusion that regardless of his character, you should never trust The Viper, which means a heel turn for him would not be as impactful as one for Dean Ambrose.
Ambrose has been face ever since The Shield turned on The Authority and it seems the time has come to unleash The Lunatic Fringe and show The WWE Universe just what Ambrose is capable of when he is unleashed with a microphone.
The possibilities are endless and the thought of WWE giving Ambrose the freedom he desires is enough to force even a passing WWE fan to tune into what could be a fantastic end to 2015.
