Arsenal: Three players they must try and sign in January

The January transfer window may seem a long way away, but trust us when we say it will roll around soon enough. With that in mind, here’s the three players Arsenal can be expected to try and sign.

At number three it’s William Carvalho of Sporting Lisbon. A midfielder isn’t necessarily what Arsene Wenger is after, but Carvalho recently declared himself a Gunners fan, and he’d be a fine addition given his constant links with the club.

Aleksandr Kokorin of Dynamo Moscow comes in at number two. The Russia international is fairly cheap and definitely available. His agent has claimed though that he might reject Arsenal because of a potential lack of silverware.

Ruling the roost we have Celta Vigo’s Nolito. The striker is prolific and on the lookout for a bigger club.

Unfortunately, for Arsenal at least, he’s also wanted by Barcelona, and they don’t lose transfer races often.
