Since becoming embroiled in a racism storm a few months back, it is fair to say that Hulk Hogan's future in the WWE has looked bleak.
Immediately blackballed by the organization, Hogan has effectively been scrubbed from the WWE's history after audio footage of the veteran wrestler using racist and derogatory language went public back in July.
It might surprise many fans, then, to hear that, despite the odds appearing to be heavily stacked against him, it doesn't look like the veteran Superstar has given up hope of returning to the WWE.

Speaking in an interview with UK newspaper The Star, via NoDQ.com, Hogan talked up the idea of getting in the ring for WWE one more time:
"There’s a lot of wrestling opportunities out there. WWE would be a great place to end my career," explained the 62-year-old.
"Everything would have to be very calculated. I’d want to go out there one last time to have fun. It would have to be something I’d really have to have a handle on, because I can’t afford any more downtime or surgery."
Considering Hogan's current situation, the idea of Vince McMahon and co. booking the veteran for another match any time soon appears very unlikely.
They have taken a firm stance on Hogan's racist comments, and it would lead to serious scrutiny should they suddenly welcome the Hall of Famer back with open arms.
However, the WWE is known for shock twists and turns, and with WrestleMania 32 not too far away, booking Hogan for a match there would certainly cause the stir they are looking for as they attempt to break records at the event.
