Despite winning their sixth straight game, the Denver Broncos came in for criticism yesterday as their offensive struggles continued.
And, with Peyton Manning having gone 26-of-48 for 290 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions against the Cleveland Browns, many fans appear to have finally turned on the veteran quarterback.
But, whilst Manning is taking heat from outside the locker room, one member of the Broncos roster took to social media last night to defend his quarterback - calling out "fake fans" in the process.

Ronnie Hillman was the man defending Manning, the Denver running back writing the following message on his official Twitter account:
In today's modern world of social media this is probably as close as we're going to get to a repeat of Terrell Owens' infamous "That's my quarterback" interview.
Hillman may feel he has a point when defending Manning, the Broncos are 6-0 after all and the quarterback's pedigree cannot be questioned.
However, with the AFC West franchise relying heavily on their defense to win them games, and with Manning having already thrown 10 interceptions this season, there are legitimate concerns that time has finally caught up with the five-time NFL MVP.
Whether those now calling for Manning to be dropped by Gary Kubiak are indeed "fake fans" or longtime Denver supporters is hard to tell. What is clear, though, is that the voices of dissent are growing louder.
Hillman's willingness to put his neck on the line for the under-pressure quarterback is admirable. But, with Manning leading the NFL in interceptions through the first six weeks of the year, the RB might have to get used to defending his QB on a weekly basis.
