"I thought Brendan Rodgers was brilliant for me, he gave me my chance, over the last couple of years he put me at Melwood.

"I'm sure Jurgen Klopp's going to be the same, I know he's given young players a chance and it only bodes well for all the lads at the Academy and the young lads in the first team."

It's likely that Klopp will follow in the footsteps of Rodgers and look to hand the club's youngsters a platform to prove their credentials over the coming years.

The revered German has a great track record of implementing youth into his side, so the likes of Rossiter and Co. should be excited by the future.

Rossiter has the ability to go from strength-to-strength at Anfield. His impressive league debut against Arsenal earlier this season certainly proved that he has the right attitude to compete at the highest level.
