PSG are growingly confident that they can agree a groundbreaking transfer for Real Madrid stalwart Cristiano Ronaldo next summer, according to Goal.
The Qatari-owned club are looking for their next marquee star with Zlatan Ibrahimovic reportedly preparing to quit the French capital.
Laurent Blanc has already confirmed the 34-year-old Swede is likely to leave Parc des Princes when his contract expires at the end of the current campaign, leaving a huge gap in the squad for a major star.

Ronaldo has long been the object of desire for PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and, having become Real Madrid's all-time top goal scorer this season, could be ready to quit the Bernabeu after sealing his individual legacy.
Indeed, there have been loudening whispers that officials inside Los Blancos would not be upset to see the back of the Portuguese star, who will turn 31 next February.
President Florentino Perez has never quite warmed to the former Manchester United star, mainly because his £80million acquisition from Old Trafford was completed by his predecessor Ramon Calderon.
Perez is also keen to make his own mega signing, Gareth Bale, every bit as successful as Ronaldo was to massage his ego as well as assert his position as a terrific president. With Ronaldo out of the picture, the Welshman will be able to shine, or so the theory goes.
If he does leave, it seems Ronaldo's top choice is Paris, according to Sky Sports, at least. The fashion capital of the world would be the perfect place for his brand – the underwear, the shoes, the suits – to grow as well as representing a chance to boost his trophy cabinet.
It is a combination of these factors that has led PSG to a position where they believe a transfer for the three-time Ballon d'Or winner is possible. However, they are not willing to wait. For them, it is next summer or nothing at all.
