Eden Hazard had 'verbal agreement' with Manchester United - former teammate

Published 1 Comments

Eden Hazard is the arguably the most influential Chelsea star of the current crop, but he could have just as easily joined Manchester United back in 2012. The Belgian’s former Lille teammate, Tulio de Melo, has revealed the exact moment Hazard opted for the Blues, despite the fact he already had a verbal agreement with the Red Devils. Melo told how Hazard met with Roman Abramovich on the Russian’s yacht during the Cannes Film Festival - when he returned, he told his old teammates he was convinced about the transfer. Meanwhile, Mourinho’s controversial season hit new lows recently when he was filmed pushing a schoolboy on a bike who was trying to film him. The clip comes courtesy of The Sun, so we’ll let you make your own minds up about him ‘losing the plot’, but it does pose a question.
