WWE descends upon the Staples Centre in Los Angeles, California for this year's Hell in a Cell.

This year's event boasts two Hell in a Cell matches as well as John Cena's US Open Challenge and a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match that could see a potential cash in.

PRE-SHOW - NEVILLE, CESARO & DOLPH ZIGGLER VS. KING BARRETT, SHEAMUS AND RUSEV

Lead WWE Writer Phillipa Hopwood- This match was a decent outing on Raw and the rivalry between Neville and Barrett as well as Rusev and Dolph has been built up for a while now which has left this match in a really good place. It's also good to see Cesaro back in the midst of the action too.

Even though we have already seen this, I think that WWE could do a lot with this on a Pay-per-view and it will be great to see who walks out with the win. I think Barrett, Sheamus and Rusev will be victorious.

Lead WWE Writer Raza Kazi- This probably isn't the match we'd all hoped for to take place on the pre-show, mainly because there are certain stars in this match we would have wanted to see answer John Cena's open challenge. Nevertheless, it's good to see some big names on the show in some form, rather than not at all.

I really enjoyed the match they had on Raw, especially from the heels and I'm hoping they can all actually put on a good match to kick off the show so we actually have something positive to say. The heels won the match on Raw so the faces could pick up a win here, but I just don't think Sheamus and Barrett can continue picking up more losses. I'm going King Barrett, Sheamus and Rusev.

KEVIN OWENS (c) VS. RYBACK - WWE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Phillipa - One of many rematches from Night of Champions sees Ryback looking to win back the championship that he was cheated out of. I think Owens has looked good with the belt so far and it would be a travesty for him to lose it right now. Kevin Owens to retain.

Raza - This feud hasn't exactly been the most entertaining, but Owens has definitely looked like a good heel champion to start with. The good thing is he can only get bigger, better and even more annoying as a champion.

I don't think it'll be another clean finish and two could probably cross paths again before Owens really goes on to flourish as a champion, Kevin Owens retains.

THE NEW DAY (c) VS. THE DUDLEY BOYZ - WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

Phillipa - I think the Dudleys have to win this because they won't be getting another shot if they don't. They have had enough chances now and have failed every one so it will be interesting to see. They also should have an equaliser for Xavier Woods as well with many people suggesting it could be Spike.

Raza - The New Day are continuing to impress every single week and they can't seem to put a foot wrong. They always manage to switch it up and remain fresh which is key and they're mixing it up with some big names as well.

This is why I don't think a loss will hurt them right now. They can still go on to achieve great things and they may even recapture the championships down the line, the Dudleyz have lost out too often now and I think now is their time. The Dudley Boyz will defeat The New Day.

CHARLOTTE (c) VS. NIKKI BELLA

Phillipa - I think this match will be far from straightforward, with team NBC and Team Bella at ringside and Natalya and Paige currently embroiled in a feud, I think this match could have an interesting ending. Both Nikki and Charlotte have momentum heading into this match so I think interference from Paige would be the best way to end it and see Charlotte retain.

Raza - It's an interesting time for Charlotte now as the champion, Nikki is her first real test and she has to watch out for Paige as well who will definitely be looking for an opportunity of her own.

It's simple, Charlotte won't lose the title this early after so much hype surrounding her victory. It would make no sense and she could be a lengthy champion and there are still great potential matches lined up. Charlotte will retain her title.

JOHN CENA'S UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP OPEN CHALLENGE

Phillipa - I love this idea, much like the mystery partner at Night of Champions, this adds a little bit of a surprise element and it allows the fans to discuss and debate.

I think the current rumours about John Cena leaving to film a fitness show have left WWE with the need to drop the US title. I think Tyler Breeze could be the one to answer the challenge, but I also think it needs to be someone who will destroy Cena so I am guessing Baron Corbin

Raza - I think the WWE made a good decision to have the open challenge at Hell in a Cell and not this past week on Raw, now there's a surprise element involved.

I think everyone is in agreement that Cena is set to drop the title so now the question is who? It could be a main roster superstar who the fans want to see or it could even be The Big Show as a massive anti-climax. I think everyone is aware of the Tyler Breeze situation whilst Samoa Joe is also a name that has cropped up, but I think that's unlikely.

So I believe this is the night Prince Pretty makes his debut and marks it with a massive win over John Cena. I believe Tyler Breeze will be Cena's opponent and will become the new champion.

ROMAN REIGNS VS. BRAY WYATT - HELL IN A CELL

Phillipa - I am really looking forward to this match because I feel Roman needs to step up his game if he has any hope of being in the main event picture in a few months time. Bray Wyatt has never backed up his promo skills in the ring and I feel he needs to here. Both men have a major point to prove and I feel Bray Wyatt will be the one to come out on top.

Raza - This should mark the end of a lengthy feud which has been both men improve a lot in various areas. It will be interesting to see the feuds the WWE have lined up for the both of them and I won't be surprised to see Dean Ambrose involved in some form either.

I do think Wyatt needs the win here, he does so well in a number of feuds and it's not good to see him lose when it matters the most and it's as if he always fails to back up his words. He's got his family back, he needs to be on top and I think a win here will set him for bigger and better things. Bray Wyatt wins this for me.

SETH ROLLINS (c) VS. KANE - WWE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

Phillipa - I am not really looking forward to this match, much like when Daniel Bryan was feuding with Kane and they main-evented Extreme Rules with the World Title on the line, it was underwhelming and I don't think Kane has improved since.

This is obviously a filler feud for the World title whilst they wait to put someone bigger in the frame. There is no way Kane is walking out with the World title but I do think Sheamus will be lurking after the match so I think Seth Rollins will retain but lose to Sheamus.

Raza - As a childhood fan of Kane I'm pleased he's getting an opportunity at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship but all in all, I've not been too happy with this feud. It hasn't done anything to make Rollins look like a solid champion and it's now become a worrying trend.

I understand he's supposed to be the cowardly heel, but I do feel there's a limit to how many times that can happen. Seth Rollins is the man right now inside of the ring, I think it's about time he was able to show it with a clean win over the Demon Kane, Seth Rollins will retain his title.

BROCK LESNAR VS. THE UNDERTAKER - HELL IN A CELL

Phillipa - Brock Lesnar vs The Undertaker is set to finally end and with them both currently with one win apiece, I can't see this ending clean.

I think someone will become involved in the match because if Brock loses then WWE's last 18 months of having him undefeated will mean nothing and SummerSlam saw so much controversy so that Undertaker could win that it doesn't make any sense to do it again. I honestly don't see either man winning. Hopefully, they will beat each other until they can't get up.

Raza - The war between The Beast and The Deadman finally comes to an explosive end and a Hell in a Cell seems like the perfect stipulation to end this once and for all.

I don't think this match will live up to their No Mercy Hell in a Cell match, but it will still be brutal. Lesnar will brutalise The Deadman by using the cell to his advantage but The Undertaker is experienced in this match so it won't be easy.

The match genuinely could go either way, but I feel Lesnar needs to win. He needs to finally cement that victory over The Undertaker to prove the WrestleMania win was not a fluke and ends this chapter once and for all. Brock Lesnar will defeat The Undertaker and look even more dominant.
