The WWE's landscape is consistently evolving. New talent is pushed up through NXT and oftentimes it can seem like may of the under-card do not get their fair share of television time as creative caters to the big stars.
Yet, despite the seeming shallowness of the main event roster, the WWE is effectively set up for many years with a programme of talent unrivalled in any other wrestling promotion in the world.
In these articles, I will look at some of the performers of the WWE who, in my opinion, have what it takes to main event a PPV on their talent alone. Last time, I chose Dolph Ziggler. This week, I progress to the Luchador, Kalisto.

At 5ft 6, 170lbs, there are many people who would doubt Kalisto's proclivity to wrestle in the main event based on his size alone. However, when it comes to straight-up wrestling ability, Kallisto could be the most promising star on the WWE's roster today.
At 28, Kalisto exhibits speed, strength, tenacity and most importantly - an ability to adapt to the American wrestling style. Honing his craft in Mexico and wrestling for AAA as "Samurai Del Sol" in 2012, Kalisto is no stranger to the spotlight. His ability to put on a top tier match cannot be in doubt, especially when one takes into account the clinic he was a part of such as "Samuray Del Sol and Mike Segura vs Daga and Freelance".

Kalisto is a firecracker in-ring and has the ability to fill a void that has been open in the WWE since the loss of Alberto Del Rio and Rey Mysterio. To appeal to the latin crowd, however, Kalisto needs to be given some valuable TV time.
It is not unreasonable to believe that should he be given a twenty-minute time slot of Raw or SmackDown on any given week, he may begin to gather a following of wrestling purists and Luchador aficionados alike, much akin to the way Cesaro grindingly gathered his fanbase.
Once again, as is the norm on these looks at the WWE's undercard it becomes clear, that should Kalisto be given a chance, he could most definitely surprise the WWE management and fans.
The ball is in your court, WWE Creative!
