If you’re having a bad morning spare a thought for Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina, who had his £16million home raided by thieves who stole his Mercedes and took it on a joyride across north London. The Colombia international was out of the country on international duty when the robbery took place, but his wife and young children are believed to have been in the house sleeping at the time. Ospina’s £100,000 car was the most notable item stolen, and was found abandoned seven miles away in Wembley Park later on in the same day. In lighter news Patrick Vieira is being touted as the potential next New York City FC manager, with the franchise considering firing current boss Jason Kreis. The role would represent Vieira’s first senior management position, with reports in the US saying all signs are pointing towards it happening. Potential Gunners boss in the future? We’ll leave that there.
