Arsene Wenger wants Mesut Ozil to score more goals

Published 1 Comments

Some Arsenal supporters remain unconvinced over Mesut Ozil’s credentials, but Arsene Wenger is of the opinion that he’s world-class. The Frenchman told in a press conference how he thought the Germany international was of the very highest calibre, but did insist that he wanted him to add goals to his game. Wenger admitted Ozil needed to be finding the back of the net more rather than simply setting up others, which is a fair point given that he’s only scored 10 Premier League goals in two and a bit seasons. In transfer news, there will be no January transfer move to the Emirates Stadium for Celta Vigo striker Nolito, who has confirmed he will not be leaving his current club in the next window. The striker has been linked with Arsenal for the past few months, but said he would not be transferring in January and would be letting God decide his future.1
