Sports fans, welcome to the last round-up of the week.
We’ll confess we’re just as ready to embrace the weekend as you are, but before we do so there’s some breaking news to relay for your enjoyment.
Below is the latest information we could find on your sports. Pretty please take the time to read it, perhaps watch the video above if you want the news presented to you and leave thoughts and opinions in the comments box below.
Kaepernick's Seahawks woe
Seattle Seahawks fans will be celebrating, San Francisco 49ers fans commiserating and Colin Kaepernick doing his best to forget last night altogether.
All the hard work Kaepernick has done in the last two weeks was completely undone on Thursday night as he and his teammates fell 20-3.
To be fair to the Seahawks they played without restraint and with plenty of confidence, although that won’t help Kaepernick much, who has been singled out as a particular disappointment from the game at the Levi’s Stadium.
Williams to trade NFL for WWE
Elsewhere, incredible rumours suggests that former New England Patriots man Brennan Williams could swap pro football for the WWE ring.
Williams’ father, Brent, apparently told the Boston Herald - as per report Adam Kurkjian - that his son had been cut by the Pats and was possibly going to accept an offer from the WWE. He’d follow in the footsteps of the likes of The Rock and Roman Reigns if he trades sports.
Rose's double vision
Across to the NBA, and Derrick Rose still has double vision heading into the Chicago Bulls’ last pre-season fixture.
The Bulls are due to take on the Dallas Mavericks in Nebraska on Friday night, and, somewhat surprising reports claim Rose might still feature even if his vision isn’t at one hundred percent.
The point guard suffered an orbital fracture in training last month, but it looks as though it won’t be a problem that holds him back for much longer.
Cousins embarrassed at Thompson deal?
To round us off, there’s plenty of people protesting at the amount the Cleveland Cavaliers have agreed to pay Tristan Thompson as part of his new five-year deal, and DeMarcus Cousins of the Sacramento Kings is one.
Cousins simply tweeted ‘How much?’ with an embarrassed emoticon, shortly after the news of Thompson’s new $82million deal broke.
