In the Premier League this weekend, we saw a stalemate in the Manchester derby, a Harry Kane hat-trick and Sunderland’s continued run of dominance in the north-east.

As the season continues to take shape, the Press Association's reporters have put together their team of the week based on the weekend’s ten fixtures.

Kasper Schmeichel, Leicester

Played 90 minutes during a 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace. Secured a first clean sheet of the season with a brilliant save from Patrick Bamford.

Carl Jenkinson, West Ham

Played 90 minutes during West Ham’s spectacular 2-1 defeat of champions Chelsea. Another strong display from the full-back, who is having a fine season.

Made a series of timely interceptions to protect Joe Hart during a tense 0-0 game against rivals Manchester United.

Jonny Evans, West Brom

Marcos Rojo, Manchester United

N’Golo Kante, Leicester

Mesut Ozil, Arsenal

Set up the opening goal with a brilliant cross that helped secure three points against Everton and also hit the post late on during the 2-1 victory.

Christian Eriksen, Tottenham

A virtuoso 90-minute display, only missing a goal from the playmaker during Spurs’ 5-1 drubbing of Bournemouth.

Dimitri Payet, West Ham

Created the opening goal and at the centre of everything West Ham did well in the famous victory against Chelsea.

Harry Kane, Tottenham

Steven Fletcher, Sunderland

Made a big contribution to the Black Cats’ crucial win against rivals Newcastle. Won a penalty and deservedly netted the third late on.
