Jose Mourinho could face sack if Chelsea lose to Liverpool

Published Add your comment

The idea of Jose Mourinho being sacked as Chelsea manager this season would have been laughable before the start of the campaign, but reports are now suggesting it might happen before the end of this month. Hard as it is to take in, if the Blues lose to Liverpool at home on October 31 Mourinho could be given his marching orders, with Roman Abramovich deeply unhappy with how the team have fared so far this term. A loss to West Ham this weekend was Chelsea’s fifth of the season - they now sit 15th in the Premier League. Across to transfer news and Eden Hazard has an unlikely admirer in Manchester United. It may be mere speculation at this point, but it’s said United are keeping an eye on the Belgian’s situation incase he decides a move away from Stamford Bridge is an option.
