WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has said in a recent blog post that if Ronda Rousey is going to become part of the WWE in the future, the company needs to max out on this and have her feud against a heel diva like Stephanie McMahon, rather than the current Divas Champion Charlotte.
This comes after the comments made by the UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion recently where she said she would like to win the Divas Championship, alongside several other accolades which are part of her career goals.
The WWE Hall of Famer commented on this in a recent blog post and suggested a way which Rousey could win the coveted title if she is able to take part in a WrestleMania 32 storyline next year.

He said: "Ronda Rousey and her camp, influenced by The Rock, are strategic in their thinking. Rousey has a huge payday awaiting her for a Wrestlemania storyline down the road and they know it. No one ever makes too much money plus RR knows that she can’t be unbreakable forever inside the Octagon.
"It was timely of Charlotte to stand her ground and respond to Ronda recently but I would rather see RR versus a heel specifically Stephanie McMahon as I feel that’s the money. Plus, do you really want Ronda Rousey going for the WWE Divas Title? Is Rousey a Diva? Is the term Diva still relevant?

"In any event, Ronda Rousey in a hot, personal issue interests me more than her going for the title at this time. The question is can Rousey and WWE come together for something BIG for the Texas WrestleMania?"
This is what has been speculated for some time for Rousey when she finally makes her WWE debut. While it is great for Charlotte to send the tweet out, I'm not sure that's the match everyone wants to see happen.
It is slightly undermining to the divas currently on the roster, i.e. they're not good enough to hold a ring with Rousey, but then again, the WWE creative team has let them down recently with the direction of the Divas Revolution. A storyline which was supposed to get the WWE Universe interested in the divas, but it hasn't.
Ross' idea is definitely the way to go for the potential debut of the UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion in the WWE, but hopefully, another diva, like Sasha Banks or Paige for example, would be pushed enough to be given the opportunity to hold the ring with Rousey too.
