Liverpool fall behind against Chelsea - fans react on Twitter

Liverpool fans were furious after the Reds shipped an early goal in their showdown against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this afternoon.

Going in to the game, the talk had been of how Liverpool could rub salt in the wounds of Jose Mourinho, whose job appeared to be at risk following the Blues awful start to the season.

Chelsea sit in 15th place this morning, however they took a big leap towards moving up the table with Ramires' goal.

The Brazilian ghosted into the area to head home after just four minutes from Cesar Azpilicueta's cross. 

Liverpool fans were quick to apportion blame on Twitter in the aftermath of the goal, with most choosing to single out Alberto Moreno and Martin Skrtel.

Jurgen Klopp, who is searching for his first win as Liverpool manager, was enraged at his side's defensive errors for the goal, as well as their reaction afterwards as the Blues came close to doubling their lead.

The Reds did get their first win under Klopp against Bournemouth in mid-week, however that is just a distant memory now as they try to get back into the game at Stamford Bridge.
