WWE Superstar Ryback has said in a recent interview that he believes he is the man that can replace John Cena as the WWE's next big star.
So far into his WWE adventure, The Human Wrecking Ball has only won one title, the Intercontinental Championship, but keeping to his catchphrase of 'Feed Me More', he wants more than just that in his WWE career.
Speaking on the Stone Cold podcast, according to NoDQ, The Big Guy apparently told WWE Chairman Vince McMahon to his face that he could replace Cena as the top star in the company once his time is up.

He said: “I told Vince this. I am here for the long haul. Like, I want to be my absolute best and my best is going to end up pretty damn good, at the end of this, but the key to that is staying healthy and longevity here.
"People are going to take themselves out, people get injured, and opportunities open up. And I’ve said from day one, I’ve told Vince this to his face, I am the guy that can replace John Cena, and I’m not John Cena, I’m Ryback. But I’m the guy that can do that and I can sell [tickets], but I need to be healthy and I need to be here everyday for that to happen.”
Ryback is one of those superstars, like Cesaro and Dean Ambrose, that are more than capable of stepping up into the main star spotlight, but is yet to be given the proper opportunity with the top title of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
His chances are shortening due to the rise of NXT. There are so many stars that have come from WWE's developmental division and there is so many more yet to be called up. Stars like Kevin Owens and Finn Balor would have a major impact in the WWE if give the top star spot and a much bigger impact than Ryback.
The Big Guy sadly is probably destined to be a mid-card guy for the rest of his WWE career, not because he isn't good enough for the spot, he clearly is, but because there are so many former and upcoming NXT stars that are better than him.
