There are theories about basically everyone ahead of WrestleMania but one of the biggest names being tossed around is the legendary Stone Cold Steve Austin.

The WWE Hall of Famer has been rumoured to play some part in WrestleMania next year with it being in his home state of Texas.

Many are speculating on a match between Austin and Brock Lesnar who is arguably the biggest asset the WWE have right now.

However the Texas Rattlesnake was recently asked about the chances of him climbing into the ring again at WrestleMania, what he had to say was bad news for the WWE Universe.

"“I think 99.9 percent I’ve had my last match. If I felt froggy and wanted to jump for any particular reason, just because I said right now I have the fever for it, I’d like to do it. But for all practical, intrinsic, whatever kind of purposes, I’m done." - Austin on another match

Not completely shooting down the idea of a match at WrestleMania, Austin has all but popped the balloon of hope that the fans were holding on to.

We still expect Austin to be a part of the show next year but it looks all but certain now that he won't be competing at AT&T Stadium.

Who will be between the ropes?

With Stone Cold now practically a certainty to not be competing at WrestleMania, the question becomes, who will be in the ring next April.

The Rock is being rumoured for a nostalgic showdown with Triple H but the biggest questions surround someone who isn't even a WWE superstar.

UFC star Ronda Rousey has been strongly linked with an appearance at WrestleMania 32 in a competing format, but will it ever happen?
