The current Tag Team Champions, The New Day, have managed to keep hold of the titles after defeating The Dudley Boyz on back-to-back pay-per-view occasions at Night of Champions and Hell in a Cell.
New challengers must enter the fold now, in order to keep the WWE Universe's interest in the Tag Team Championship and the division itself. With The Usos recently returning to WWE action and The Lucha Dragons looking like they're on the verge of a push after their vignette on Raw, one of these teams will likely be The New Day's opponent's at Survivor Series.
According to NoDQ, The New Day are speculated to put their titles on the line against either The Usos or The Lucha Dragons at the pay-per-view on November 22. But which team would be the better opponent for them at this current moment of time?

Jimmy and Jey Uso are former tag team champions; they're loved by the WWE Universe for their high flying acts, and they're a good natural opponent for The New Day as they have decent mic skills too. A good feud with them to conclude at the Royal Rumble in January would be the best direction to go in.
However, at the end of that feud, The Usos shouldn't be standing tall with the titles, it should be The New Day. The tag team of Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, and Big E is so hot right now and the WWE Universe is loving it, so why ruin it by taking the title's away from them?

Jimmy and Jey should regain the titles at Survivor Series, for The New Day to retain them at TLC in a Triple Threat with The Dudley Boyz, and then finally Woods, Big E, and Kingston should keep hold of the titles once again at the Royal Rumble.
This period will provide the WWE enough time to push The Lucha Dragons and to get them the status of a crowd favorite with the help of their Hispanic gimmick and high-flying style of wrestling. WWE has a big latino audience, so they already have that on their side, and their high-risk maneuvers will win over the rest of the WWE Universe over time.
All they have to do is feud with the current two superstars they're battling with now, Sheamus and King Barrett. These two superstars are two of the best workers in the WWE with excellent in-ring and promo ability and are definitely the right candidates to put over The Lucha Dragons over the period of three pay-per-views.
They can elevate the tag team to the standard which they look like worthy competitors for The New Day, because right now they don't, so they need that boost in order to reach the goal of winning the Tag Team Championships.
