When Liverpool confirmed the hiring of Jurgen Klopp, the club's young players must have been thanking their lucky stars.

The former Borussia Dortmund boss is renowned for handing chances to players regardless of their age. And just one month into his Anfield tenancy, one youngster in particular is reaping the benefits.

Jordon Ibe had to deal with massive pressure from Liverpool fans. Having seen Raheem Sterling emerge as a first-team star last season, Ibe was expected to follow a similar path. When Sterling left for Manchester City, Ibe was expected to replace him.

Under Brendan Rodgers, the 19-year-old seemed to be struggling with the weight of expectation. But under Klopp, he has been transformed into a star.

The real deal

With such a great performance against Rubin Kazan, hype surrounding the young Englishman will only grow, but Klopp has already made a noticeable impression in his game. Instead of being pushed down by the pressure, Ibe seems to be driven by it.

He recently told Sky Sports: "With the new manager, everything is fresh. I feel like a new player and it's for me to keep improving and trying to stand out in training. I feel good - the whole team are feeling great and fresh.

"We've won two games now, so it's still new. We just need to win a few more now and I am sure that mentality and confidence will come where we think, 'we can go there and beat them.'"

However, it doesn't always go right for Ibe
