Class of 92 owned Salford City's FA Cup first round win over Notts County is why we all love the FA Cup.

The Northern Premier League side, controlled by Manchester United heroes Phil and Gary Neville, Paul Scholes, Nicky Butt and Ryan Giggs outclassed their League Two opponents to claim a memorable 2-0 victory.

It means the club are only one game away from a potential clash with the Red Devils.

The Red Devils went over six hours of football without finding the back of the net before Wayne Rooney's header in the 1-0 win over CSKA Moscow.

During the Champions League clash on Tuesday night fans were heard chanting 'attack, attack, attack'.

Well, as seen by the tweets below, some Red Devils supporters are envious of the style of play at Moor Lane. (Of course, this is a joke)

4-4-2

Van Gaal opted for a different approach in midweek as he played Anthony Martial and Wayne Rooney together upfront.

United showed much more attacking threat and should have scored more than just a solitary goal against their Russian opponents.

The Red Devils welcome West Brom to Old Trafford on Saturday and fans will be hoping to see more the same from their side.

It seems the tactical approach currently being undertaken by Van Gaal just won't slide with some United fans.
