Barcelona forward Neymar was at his sublime best as the Catalans secured a comfortable 3-0 victory over Villarreal earlier today. 

The Brazilian ace was at the double for Luis Enrique's side, who put a three-point cushion between themselves and rivals Real Madrid at the top of La Liga. 

Luis Suarez, who assisted the exceptional talent for the third goal, was also on hand to fire home once again, but it's Neymar who hogged the headlines on this occasion.

Without superstar Lionel Messi, the dynamic Neymar has been in sensational form recently, acting as the club's talisman.

But, today's goal really was on another level: taking the ball down from a classy Suarez chip, Neymar produced a touch of genius to loop the ball over Jaume Costa and volley home the final goal of the game.

Well, you can understand why Manchester United are seemingly interested in taking the technically gifted star to Old Trafford. 

At 23, the versatile forward still has time on his side in his pursuit of becoming the world's best player. If he continues to score goals like the one above, then he may well surpass the duo of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi in the coming years.
